About Lawbyte

Lawbyte is an online marketplace that helps people find and contact licensed lawyers for everyday legal paperwork, like wills, divorce documents, contracts and letters.

Free for clients. Lawyers pay a flat $15 only when they accept a request. Lawbyte never takes a share of legal fees, and clients pay their lawyer directly.

Checked before listing. Lawyers appear on Lawbyte only after we look up their license on their state bar's public lookup.

What we are not. Lawbyte is not a law firm and does not give legal advice. We don't share in lawyers' fees. An attorney-client relationship only begins when you and a lawyer sign an engagement letter.
